Does the Qur’an Prophesise the establishment and the future fate of Israel?

BY NABEEL ALKHALIDY. THIS HAS BEEN REPRODUCED FROM THE SIBAWAY INSTITUTE. This is an interesting tafseer which seems to prophesise the establishment of the Zionist state of Israel, that many orthodox Jews believe is an illegitimate state and goes against their own scripture. Once established it will commit attrocities as we witness today with the Gaza Genocide, open rapes of prisoners and crimes so abhorent that any decent human being regardless of their religion would be horrified by. These crimes will be exposed for the world to see and then the entity will seek to exist. As some former Israeli generals and officials have warned this may not be due to a military defeat but simply that the state is not a viable entity anymore with millions leaving to flee the dire economic conditions. Allah knows best. Allah Most High says:

Tafseer: “Surely I am very near”

And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way. [2:186]

How many people are needed to contract the bay’ah?

The bay’ah is a ruling contract which governs the relationship between Muslims and the Islamic state. For those Muslims living under the authority of the Khilafah the bay’ah is their citizenship contract with the state. Unlike most Islamic contracts which are one-to-one such as buying, selling, and marriage, the bay’ah is one-to-millions i.e. between the Khaleefah and the Muslim ummah. This poses a challenge on how you get the free choice and consent of millions of people which is a condition in Islamic contracts.

The story of how Pharaoh mobilised Public Opinion against Moses and his followers

The story of Musa (as) and Pharaoh has countless timeless lessons for the believers to understand the continuous struggle between truth and falsehood. BY ABU YUSUF In one passage in Sura Al-Zhukruf from verses 46 to 56, Allah ﷻ gives us an account of the nature of the struggle between Musa (as) and Pharaoh. In this brief article, I want to focus on how Pharaoh mobilised public opinion against Musa (as) and his followers. It is essential to understand that controlling and commanding public opinion by any state or authority is equally important as commanding an army. Controlling the general public opinion is what gives a state the authority to rule and enact policies. It legitimises the action of the ruler in the minds of the public. It is essential for aware Muslims to be mindful of public opinion and those who shape and control it, and it is through this awareness one can identify the hidden aims and plans of the ruler or the state.
