Tafseer: “If you help Allah, He will help you and make your feet firm.”

BY ABU YUSUF This article has been reproduced from Arabic Trench You who have iman! if you help  (in the cause of) Allah, He will help you and make your foothold firm. But those who are kafir will have utter ruin and He will make their actions go astray. That is because they hate what Allah has sent down, so He has made their actions come to nothing. (Muhammad, 47:7-9)

Tafseer Surah Asr

BY ABU YUSUF This article has been reproduced from Arabic Trench I swear by the time, Most surely man is in loss, Except those who believe and do good, and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience.   Introduction This chapter is placed between two other chapters that mention loss. In the previous chapter, Sura Al-Takathur, man is a loser because he was diverted by worldly gains until he visits the grave and he will then see hellfire (الْجَحِيمَ), and this is loss.

Tafseer Surah Saff: You who have iman! Why do you say what you do not do? It is deeply abhorrent to Allah that you should say what you do not do.

You who have iman! Why do you say what you do not do? It is deeply abhorrent to Allah that you should say what you do not do. (Surah Saff, 61:2-3) The following is a translation of Dr Fadhel al Samarrai’s Tafseer of Surah Saff.

The Grammatical Marvels of Sura Al-Kawthar

Truly We have given you the Great Abundance. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice. It is the one who hates you who is cut off without an heir. (Surah al-Kawthar)

Tafseer of Sura Al-Fatiha by Dr Fadhel al-Samarrai

Download the book Tafseer Surah Fatiha This book contains a draft translation of Dr Fadhel al Samarrai’s tafseer of the opening chapter of the Qur’an and mother of the book, Surah Al-Fatiha. Dr Fadhel is a well-known Arabic linguist whose works give an insight in to the miraculous nature of Qur’anic Arabic, with the only conclusion being that this Qur’an must have come from an unlimited, all-powerful creator, Allah (Most High).
