Glorious history of Islam – 93 years since the destruction of the Khilafah

570 – Birth of our blessed Messenger Muhammad ﷺ

622 – First Islamic State

630 – Conquest of Makkah

632 – Death of Muhammad ﷺ

638 – Muslims enter holy land of Palestine

641 – Muslims enter Egypt and rout the Byzantine army.

Late 600s – Islam begins to spread throughout North Africa

711 – Muslims enter Spain in the west and India in the east.

711 to 1000 – Muslims enter Afghanistan and India

1000 – Islam continues to spread through the African continent, including Nigeria

1099 – Muslims enter the holy land of Palestine

1120 – Islam continues to spread throughout Asia. Malaysian traders interact with Muslims who teach them about Islam.

1260 – Muslims defeat the Tartars in the famous battle of Ain Jaloot

1299 – The earliest ottoman emirate is formed in Anatolia, Turkey

1400s – Islam reaches the Philippines

1453 – Further expansion throughout Asia

1520 – Reign Of Suleyman the Magnificent; Khilafah reaches its zenith. Hungary and coast islands of Algeria and Tunisia come under Muslim rule.

c.1700 – Approx 30% of Africans forced into slavery in the United States are Muslim

1870 to 1924 – Muslim immigrants from the Arab states voluntarily come to the Unites States until the Asian Exclusion Act is passes in 1924

1919 to 1924 – World War 1 ends with the defeat and destruction of the Khilafah, the last Islamic State. Islam is relegated from public life and society. Most Muslim regions are colonised by the European Powers.
