The sickening interrogation of an 8-year-old Muslim boy by Britain’s Thought Police aka Counter-Terrorism Officers has rightly caused uproar in the Muslim community. For years, senior figures within the Muslim community have been warning about the true aims of Prevent which are to destroy Islamic values and replace them with secular liberal “British” values. This latest case proves beyond doubt that this is the case.

A more extreme version of Prevent is currently being implemented by China against the Muslim Uighurs in occupied East Turkestan. China is taking a medieval approach to Islam – first deployed in the Spanish Inquisition – where it tortures Muslims in to renouncing Islam, and forces them to drink alcohol and eat pork. Although Britain is taking a lighter approach thus far, it’s likely that heavier tactics will be used in the future, since so far Muslims are alhamdulillah refusing to cross the red lines of Islam.

Britain cannot PREVENT crime because ‘obeying the law’ is not a British value

We should realise that without the Islamic Khilafa to implement, protect and propagate the deen of Islam then we are at the mercy of secular governments who can encroach on our rights and religion at will. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

لَيُنْقَضَنَّ عُرَى الْإِسْلَامِ عُرْوَةً عُرْوَةً فَكُلَّمَا انْتَقَضَتْ عُرْوَةٌ تَشَبَّثَ النَّاسُ بِالَّتِي تَلِيهَا وَأَوَّلُهُنَّ نَقْضًا الْحُكْمُ وَآخِرُهُنَّ الصَّلَاةُ

“The knots of Islam will be undone one by one, each time a knot is undone the next one will be grasped, the first to be undone will be the Ruling and the last will be the Prayer.” (Hakim/ Ahmed)

“They desire to extinguish Allah’s Light with their mouths but Allah will perfect His Light, though the disbelievers hate it.”

Those working day and night to obstruct and Prevent Islam should realise that their actions will come to nothing.

Allah (Most High) says:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَشَاقُّوا الرَّسُولَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْهُدَىٰ لَنْ يَضُرُّوا اللَّهَ شَيْئًا وَسَيُحْبِطُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ

“Those who disbelieve and obstruct the Way of Allah, and are entrenched in hostility towards the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to them, do not harm Allah in any way and He makes their actions come to nothing.”

(Muhammad, 32)

It’s also worth reflecting on the futile attempts of Quraysh who were the first to try and Prevent the message of Islam. They used torture, propaganda and boycott against the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions, yet the Islamic State was still established in Madinah. Sheikh Taqiudeen an-Nabhani mentions this point in Ad-Dowlah Islamiyyah:

“Ultimately, all the ways and means of propaganda pronounced against the Islamic Dawah failed. The sheer force of truth reflected in what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was calling for, defeated all rumors, lies and propaganda, and the light of Islam dissipated all attempts at discrediting it.”

This was the case then, and it is the case now and in the future, so long as Muslims remain steadfast on Islam.
